Chicago Booth appoints new leader for Executive Education

Meena Wehrs has recently been named Associate Dean for Executive Education at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business; she assumed the role on September 1.

Wehrs joined Chicago Booth in 2013 to lead the digital and data transformation of Executive Education, which included systems, operations and marketing. Most recently, she served as interim Associate Dean of the program.

Booth Executive Education runs approximately 50 open enrollment programs in Chicago, London, Hong Kong, and creates custom tailored programs for companies and organizations globally. More than 3,000 executives participate in Booth Executive Education each year.

“Meena is a great asset to Booth’s Executive Education Program,” says Randall Kroszner, Deputy Dean for Executive Programs and Norman R. Bobins Professor of Economics. “Her experience and vision will elevate the impact of Booth’s Executive Education on business practice to new levels.”

Led by Wehrs, the global Executive Education team develops, markets, and delivers education solutions for today’s toughest learning and development challenges. Participants learn from top Booth MBA faculty on topics in management, finance, leadership, strategy, innovation and marketing.

Booth Executive Education also serves non-profits and the broader community through the Harry L. Davis Executive Education Scholarship for Non-Profit Leaders, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Executive Education Scholarship and custom programming with the Urban League.

Prior to Booth, Wehrs served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Bank of America.
